Seminar On Liquid Crystal From Curiosity To Commodity

The NSS volunteers of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology organized a seminar on “Liquid crystal from Curiosity to commodity” at ECE Seminar hall from 04:30 pm to 06:00 pm. Dr.Sandeep Kumar, Raman Research Institute(RRI),Bangalore explained about the basics of crystal physics, their usage and applications. Dr.A.Shanmugam, the Principal, BIT strongly emphasized the need for understanding liquid crystal. Mr.V.N.VijayaKumar, NSS Programme Officer, BIT and Dr.L.N.Madhu Mohan, Associate Professor, Department of ECE addressed the students. Around 200 NSS volunteers took part in the event.
