Special Camp '10

Date: 30-01-2010 to 05-01-2010

As a part of our academic activity we organised a 7 day Special Camp to the A.G Pudur village, Sathymangalam which is located 4 Kms away from our College. The total number of NSS volunteers participated was 110.  
                                               

DAY:1

We made a general survey in the village regarding the details about the families and their basic needs and they were documented.
                                               

DAY:2

We have done a medical camp for the village people and tree plantation programme, RTI & corruption awareness programme has been conducted for the village people.

                           

                           


DAY:3

We have cleaned the school campus and for the school students from I standard to III standard we taught yoga, for IV and V Standard we have taught the computer and that evening sugarcane harvesting awareness programme has been conducted.

                    

                     

                                           

DAY:4

We have conducted the rally regarding the CANCER AND PLASTIC AWARNESS for the school students we taught yoga and the exercise and that evening for the village people we have conducted the awareness program regarding aids and government schemes.

                    

                     

                     


DAY:5

We have conducted sports for the school students and some NSS volunteers went to THASARIPALAYAM for painting the school campus and planted trees. Evening we conducted a GLOBAL WARMING AWARENESS programme for the village people.

                   

                    


DAY:6

We have painted the school campus and for the school students we have teaches English and for the village people we conducted a awareness program on BANKING AND CONSUMER PROGRAM.

                   

                    

                                        

DAY:7

Final day we cleaned that village and collected ANTI-PLASTICS above 45 bags and conducted a CLEANING AWARENESS PROGRAM for the village people.
